Scotland is a small country but it’s filled with history, culture, special foods, beautiful landscapes and lots of secrets.

This online workbook is all about Scotland. You’ll learn about Scottish history, geography, nature and traditions, all through doing puzzles and activities.

This is a Jumbo Workbook, which means it’s longer than a regular workbook. You might need to tackle it in 2 or 3 tries, rather than just one go…

How does it work?

Maybe you’ve done some of our workbooks before. This one is a bit different. Some of the activities are online, and some of them are on worksheets that you print out.

Start by downloading the worksheets for Scotland and print them out.

On the worksheets you’ll find the Answer Grid (as well as some activities). When you find the answers to the activities on this page and the next few pages, write it on the Answer Grid you’ve printed out. By the time we’ve finished all the activities, you should have 18 answers written in the Grid.

This is Scotland

It’s on an island in northern Europe, above England. Maybe you live there or have visited it. Can you find it on a bigger map?

You can click on the plus signs on this picture to learn more about Scotland. It might even help you later on!

John O'Groats is the most northern part of Scotland (and the UK) whichisn't on an island. It's a small village but it's quite famous. Lots of people travel (by walking or my cycling)from John O'Groats to Land's End in Cornwall, travelling the whole length of the UK.
